Privacy Policy - Die in Office: Troll Game

Last updated: October 7, 2026

This privacy policy describes how the mobile game Die in Office: Troll Game (package com.indieapps.officeescape, "the Game", "we") handles information. We built the Game to collect as little data as possible.

1. Information we do not collect

The Game has no accounts, no log-in, no chat and no in-app purchases. We (the developer) do not operate any server for the Game and do not receive your name, e-mail address, contacts, photos, precise location or any other personal information.

2. Information stored on your device

Your game progress (unlocked floors, stars, death counters, paper clips, outfits, daily bonus date and settings such as sound/haptics) is stored locally on your device. It never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the Game or use "Reset progress" in Settings.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Game shows ads provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC: occasional full-screen ads between floors, and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch (for example to skip a floor or double your paper clips). To serve and measure ads, the AdMob SDK may automatically collect and share with Google:

This data is used for advertising, ad measurement, analytics and fraud prevention, and may be used to show personalized ads where permitted. Data is encrypted in transit. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads or Settings > Privacy > Ads).

4. Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Game uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the Game under Settings > Ad privacy options.

Learn more about how Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through ads, please contact us so we can help.

6. Permissions

The Game requests the Internet / network-state permissions (needed to load ads) and the advertising ID permission (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID, added by the AdMob SDK). It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, files or location.

7. Data retention and deletion

Local game data stays on your device until you reset it or uninstall the Game. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's policies; you can manage it via your Google account and device ad settings.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
